Stake has integrated into Open Banking via TrueLayer, a regulated provider that facilitates fast and secure bank transfers between your bank account to our FX provider.
Open Banking is a UK-regulated program pushed forward by the Competition and Market Authority (UK) to make data and transactions faster and more secure for UK residents.
The minimum funding amount is £50.
To make a TrueLayer-supported deposit:
On the Stake app, head to your portfolio dashboard and tap Buying power > Add funds; on web, click on the wallet icon in the right hand corner > Add funds
Insert the deposit amount
Select TrueLayer and your preferred funding speed
Follow the prompts to complete your TrueLayer payment
What if my TrueLayer transfer fails?
Stake is integrated into Open Banking via TrueLayer. This method is usually successful, but sometimes deposits are rejected or fail for reasons beyond our control.
If this occurs, we recommend trying a direct bank transfer. If you have any further questions please reach out to our support team here.
